Kurokawa is an ordinary high school student living in Hiroshima. He's uncomfortable with his always smiling classmate, Shiraki. One day on his way home, Kurokawa suddenly bumps into Shiraki wearing a blood-stained shirt. Kurokawa quickly took his hand and ran away from the scene, only to find out that Shiraki has been selling his body for a living. He injured a client and escaped.

After hearing that Shiraki never wanted to "do this," Kurokawa couldn't leave him alone and purposes to "run away together." Not knowing here to go, the two of them jumped on a train and set off to the ocean, as Shiraki wanted to see it. Bit by bit, they established an emotional bond, but it ended all too quickly.

Several years after their fleeting escapade, Kurokawa, now working as a middle school teacher in Yokohama, reunites with Shiraki at a wine shop...

広島に住む平凡な高校生・黒川は、
いつもにこにこしているクラスメイトの白木に苦手意識をもっていた。
ある日の帰り道、黒川の目の前に血で汚れたYシャツを着た白木が現れる。
咄嗟に彼の手を引きその場から逃げ出した黒川は、
白木が生活のために身体を売り、客に怪我を負わせ逃げてきたことを知る。
「本当はしたくない」という白木の本音を聞き、
放っておくことができず「一緒に逃げよう」と彼を連れ出す黒川。
行き先も決めず飛び乗った電車、二人きりの逃避行は
「海が見たい」という白木のため海を目指すことに。
ただのクラスメイトだった黒川と白木は次第に心を通わせていくが、
その終わりはあっけなく訪れる。

つかの間の逃避行から数年後、横浜の中学校で教師として働く黒川は、
偶然立ち寄ったワインショップで白木と再会し――。
